On Tuesday, January 21st we will begin following a new protocol for visitor sign-in at the elementary school. Our new sign-in process utilize new software that allows us to increase the security of our schools.
All visitors to the school will enter the front door and use an iPad to enter their name, state the reason for their visit, and take a photo. Photo name tags will print for all visitors behind the front desk. Visitors will still be required to present a photo ID in order to pick up their visitor badge.
Upon leaving the building it is important to remember to sign out. With the new system, you will simply scan a QR code printed on your ID sticker at one of the iPads and you will be signed out. For now, our fast-pass system will remain in place and will continue to operate as usual. We appreciate your attention to this change in process as we continue to improve the security of our schools!
