Windsor Charter Academy is hosting a seminar entitled “The Impact of Social Media on Youth.” The seminar explores how social media influences young people’s mental health, social interactions, and behavior. Providing statistics from the bestselling book The Anxious Generation, this presentation examines how social media affects age groups and genders differently.

WCA’s High School National Honor Society is hosting Parents’ Night Out on Friday, April 4th, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Have some time to yourself or enjoy a date night! Advanced registration is required, so please register below.

Windsor Charter Academy’s Junior & Senior Prom will be held on Saturday, April 19th, at the Windsong Events Center from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. After Prom will be held at The Main Event in Windsor from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.

Students at Windsor Charter Academy will be taking their Colorado Measures of Academic Success  (CMAS) tests in April! CMAS tests are meaningful and relevant assessments that support rigorous academic standards. The state’s summative tests measure students’ mastery of grade-level standards and growth over time.

Calling all parents!  Windsor Charter Academy’s freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be taking the PSAT and SAT on April 15th. The evening before, on April 14th, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., we invite parents to write inspirational messages on each of the students’ desks. 

Are you interested in learning more about Aims Community College and what it has to offer? Join Aims faculty, staff, and students for our all-campus Discover Aims Open House on Wednesday, March 26th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.!

Walk Our Way (WOW), a local non-profit organization, is hosting a free prom pop-up party for all northern Colorado high school students on March 23rd from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The event will be held at Just for Kix, 445 Apex Drive in Windsor.

The Aims Industrial Technology team will host the fourth annual Aims BEST science camp from June 9th through June 13th at the Aims Community College Greeley campus. The camp will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day and is open to all high school students aged 13 to 18. 

WCA students use this site for college and career planning and to access their PSAT/SAT results. In previous years, the College Board used an “opt-out” system, but this year, parents need to opt in for their students to access these resources.
