The Virtual College Counselors met with the junior class in January to introduce the college application process, and in February, they discussed how to assess college fit. Students have taken notes from the college counselors on these topics, so please check with your student to see what specific information the counselors shared.

Windsor Charter Academy’s Academic Lettering Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, February 26th, at 7:15 a.m. in the HS Gymnasium. If your student earned a GPA of 3.95 or above for the spring and fall 2024 semesters, they qualify for this achievement.

The Windsor Charter Academy High School Mock Trial team will be competing at the Larimer County Courthouse as part of the Colorado Bar Association High School Mock Trial Competition. The public is invited to watch, so please come support our students!  

Our high school Winter Dance, Snow Ball, is just around the corner! To celebrate, the HS Student Council has organized a week of Spirit Days! Students should adhere to our dress code policy.

All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will participate in the Colorado School Day PSAT/SAT on April 15, 2025.  Students can leave for the day when their testing room has finished testing. Seniors will not report to school on this day.

On Saturday, February 8th, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., high school students are invited to attend our Winter Dance - the Snow Ball! The dance will be held at the Firebird Facility.

Course registration began this week! Our counselor and academic advisor are making classroom presentations to all ICAP and AVID classes. Families are asked to work with their students to review the registration sheet and refer to our 2025-26 Early College High School Course Catalog for more information.

Congratulations to our 1st Semester Honor Roll recipients! The following students earned their Honor Roll Free Dress Day on January 21st for their achievements.

Students should to be aware of the dates that they can drop or withdraw from Aims Community College courses.

Mrs. Ringlein and Ms. Seneca will begin classroom visits to start our 2025-26 course registration process during the week of January 21st. Course Registration Forms will be due on Friday, January 31st.

Mark your calendars! Spring Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place on Thursday, February 13th, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the middle school gymnasium. Conferences will follow an open-house format, allowing families to meet with teachers at their convenience.

Students may now register for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form, which allows students to be considered for federal student aid. In addition, states and colleges use FAFSA information to award their own grants, scholarships, and loans.

Our Sources of Strength Peer Leaders are doing an amazing job of being agents of change and connecting students to hope, help, and strength! We have implemented several school-wide campaigns during the first semester and need your support for next semester.

All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will take the PSAT/SAT practice test on Friday, January 17th. Once testing is complete, the school day will be over. There will be no school for seniors on that day.
