Join us on Friday, December 20th, and Saturday, December 21st, for our first High School Winter Basketball Showcase in the Firebird Facility! The following teams will be present for the showcase: Meeker High School, Bishop Machebeuf High School, and Banning Lewis Academy.

Join us to start planning our 2025 After Prom event for juniors, seniors, and their guests! Parents will learn how they can help make this event a success for our students. This meeting will be held on Monday, December 2nd, at 3:30 p.m. in Classroom #184. We hope to see you there!

Windsor Charter Academy is giving families an opportunity to donate gifts to those in need this holiday season! From November 18th through December 19th, a Giving Tree will be placed in the high school front hallway with gift tags listing various donation ideas.

Join us on Tuesday, December 10th for our MS/HS Winter Music Concert & Art Show held in the Firebird Facility high school gym. Middle school students will perform starting at 5:30 p.m. followed by high school students starting at around 6:30 p.m. WCA’s Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Bella Voce, High School Mixed Choir, Mixed Ensemble, and Jazz Band will perform a variety of musical pieces they have prepared this semester.

Please be aware you may be receiving a bill from Aims Community College in the mail. This bill is for your student's administration fees and online fees. You are only responsible for the $25 administrative fee. Windsor Charter Academy pays the tuition portion of the bill if the class is taken on our campus.

There are a few deadlines coming up for our seniors. Please be sure to mark your calendars!

If your high school student is absent during the school day, you may receive a phone call and email. These automated phone calls are sent at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Evening calls are made if your student was marked absent in the afternoon.

Windsor Charter Academy has a part-time position opening for a high school paraprofessional! This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible hours or who wishes to be on a school calendar schedule.

If you need to drop off lunch, supplies, homework, or other items for your student, please bring them to the front desk. To minimize classroom disruptions, students will be called down to pick up their items during the next passing period, unless they need a Chromebook or other urgent items.

Windsor Charter Academy welcomes families and veterans to our Veterans Day Assembly on November 11th in the Firebird Facility Gym! The assembly will begin at 2:15 p.m., but visitor check-in will start at 1:45 p.m. at the south door of the Firebird Facility. We are excited to honor those who have served our country!

In celebration of Halloween, high school students can participate in a costume contest on Wednesday, October 30th. The student who wins the costume contest will be awarded a Free Dress Day Pass for Monday, November 4th.

The HS Parent-Teacher Club will host a Teacher Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, November 13th. This luncheon will be a potluck-style soup and salad bar set up in the high school teacher lounge. Please use this link to volunteer to bring items for this event!

We want to extend our appreciation to our Firebird Families for coming out and supporting our high school music students! Under Mrs. Frazee's direction, the HS Wind Ensemble performed “The Great Locomotive Chase” with soloists Grace M., Zach W., and Emma G.

The University of Northern Colorado (UNC) Math Contest is open to any middle or high school student interested in math! The first round of questions is sent to Windsor Charter Academy from UNC and administered in-house at WCA during a 2-day window.
