What's the Weather at Windsor Charter Academy?

Does your student ever wake up and wonder what to wear to school? Thanks to the efforts of daddy-daughter duo John and Mirabelle, and the Porter family, our families can check the weather every morning! The Adams family donated a Davis Instruments Vantage Vue Weather Station and Console. The Porter family donated a WeatherLink Link Data Collection Device. When combined, these devices allow WCA to have a live weather feed that reports the weather measurements from the organic garden at our elementary school. Weather data is transmitted wirelessly to the WeatherLink Network.

Our elementary, middle, and high school students download the weather data and use it in their math classes! Students study data trends, patterns, and evaluate temperatures over a period of time. WCA is lucky to have this fun and interactive weather device at our school!
