Comfy Clothes Day will be held on May 11th! Student Council is excited to celebrate Comfy Clothes Day with students as a reward for donating so many clothes for the Uniform Drive. At our first Uniform Drive, students filled over 40 boxes of gently used uniforms for students in need. Student Council and their 5th grade peers worked hard behind the scenes. Students sorted, boxed, bagged, and delivered uniforms to Firebird families, as well as community schools in need!
On May 11th, students may come to school dressed in comfy pajama or athletic wear on that follows our Dress Code policy and general guidelines listed below:
Clothing must conceal undergarments.
Dresses are not to have bare midriffs or cling to the body.
Shorts, dresses, or skirts must be of modest length. The length must meet or exceed that of the fingertips when standing with arms at the side. This rule applies to the natural flow of the dress/shorts.
No backless, spaghetti strap, strapless, cold shoulder, or halter-type dresses or tops.
Dresses or tops with plunging necklines are not permitted.
Bottom garments must be worn at the waist and should not be saggy or baggy.
Bottom garments should not have holes or be frayed (except on free dress days).
