We appreciate our families and greater Firebird community! We have raised over $31,500! We have a few days left to reach our $60,000 goal. If you haven’t had a chance to donate, and you are in a place to give, there is still time to make a donation!
Our Firebird Fun Run Event is Friday, April 8th. There are a few important details to remember for the Fun Run:
Students will walk to our elementary school west staff parking lot to participate in our Firebird Fun Run.
Parents can download the Firebird Fun Run Agenda to see their student’s class run time.
This year’s Firebird Fun Run is sponsored by run.Windsor! Students will have official race tags that will automatically count their laps. Race tags will be pinned to their t-shirts.
All students can wear athletic attire on Friday, April 8th.
Students should bring a water bottle and sunscreen to the event.
Students will run as many laps as they can while being cheered on by parents and volunteers. Parents are welcome to come watch the event or run with their student!
Volunteer
Parents are encouraged to sign up to volunteer. If you are interested in volunteering for this event, please click here.
Parking
Parking is available at Future Legends Sports Complex, Windsor Baptist Church, and our Logistics Parking Lot. Parents are asked to refrain from parking at the Logistics Parking Lot after 2:00 p.m. as families will be arriving for pick up. Parents attending the Fun Run will not be allowed to block our pick-up locations during pick-up time. Out of respect for our neighboring businesses, please do not park in their parking lots.
Early Check-Out Procedures
If a parent would like to check their student out after the event, they will need to check out at the front office. A photo ID is required for check out.
Weather
The weather forecast will determine whether we host the Fun Run. If inclement weather is forecasted, we will reschedule the event for another day.

Funds raised are for participation, not on a per lap basis. Donations can be credited toward your family's 35-hour service commitment at 1 hour per $10 donation. A $350 donation can fulfill your family's commitment! To record this, please update your HelpCounter School Volunteer Account and enter your hours as a monetary donation.
FUNDRAISING GOAL
The Firebird Fun Run Fundraising Campaign will continue to support our school’s “Grow and Thrive” campaign. Our goal is to raise $300,000 over five years. This year’s goal is to raise $60,000. Funds raised will go towards installing artificial turf at our elementary school, in the field between the blacktop and the mulched playground. While our school does receive state funding, these funds do not fully cover building and maintenance costs. Fundraising is critical to closing the gap!
