WCA students are excited to kick-off their 2020-2021 VEX Robotics season! VEX Robotics’ mission is to increase student interest and involvement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by engaging students in hands-on, affordable, and sustainable robotics engineering programs. WCA students will compete with hundreds of thousands of students from across the globe united in their passion for STEM!
If your student in interested in participating in VEX Robotics, registration is now open!
Steps for Registration:
Complete and submit this online registration form by September 21, 2021. Once completed, you will receive a confirmation email with a packet of materials. The packet includes the parent-athlete handbook acknowledgment, the social media contract, the parent pledge, among other items.
If your student does not attend WCA, please complete and submit a Non-WCA Student-Athlete Form.
Submit a $200 VEX Participation Fee to be paid through Infinite Campus (Payment can be made by check for non-WCA student-athletes).
Practices will begin September 24th, 2020. Practices will follow the WCA COVID-19 Return-to-Play Guidelines. Cohorts will be scheduled according to their assigned A or B academic groupings throughout hybrid learning (Group A may participate on Monday-Tuesday while Group B may participate on Thursday-Friday).
