Please be aware you may be receiving a bill from Aims Community College in the mail. This bill is for your student's administration fees and online fees. You are only responsible for the $25 administrative fee.

UNC's College of Education and Behavioral Sciences will be hosting the 9th annual Future Teachers Conference on Friday, February 2nd from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Presented by the School of Teacher Education, the conference is an excellent way for students to explore a teaching career in an interactive and welcoming campus environment. 

Sources of Strength is doing the Thankfulness Campaign this month.! Studies have shown that practicing gratitude can have powerful positive impacts on your brain and life.

On Tuesday, December 5th starting at 5:30 p.m., middle and high school music students will show off their hard work by performing musical works for each other, family, and friends. All are welcome to attend an evening of musical entertainment!

Student Council is hosting High School Spirit Night on November 17th at 6:00 p.m. Students are invited to come play Spike Ball, cornhole, and hang out with friends! The event is free to all students and concessions will be available for purchase.

The freshmen class will be taking a field trip to TopGolf on Wednesday, November 29th! All parents/guardians must fill out the Student Permission Slip for this trip by Friday, November 17th. The cost of the field trip is  $21 and is due by November 17th.

Real Talk is a career and college exploration initiative designed by College Board to connect Black students and families with Black professionals and representatives from colleges and organizations across the country.

Join us to start planning our 2024 After-Prom event for juniors, seniors, and their guests! Parents will learn how they can help make this event a success for our students.

The next date for SAT testing is December 2nd. This will be the last date to take the SAT on paper, all testing moving forward will be digital.

It has come to our attention that Aims Community College has issued refund checks to some of our students. These checks were sent in error and should not be cashed.

Our high school National Honor Society publishes a monthly newsletter. NHS students are encouraged to read this month’s newsletter!

At the middle and high school level, Sources of Strength employs a radically strength-based approach to harness the power of peer social networks to support mental health, emotional regulation, proactive prevention of bullying, and suicide prevention.

In celebration of Halloween, high school students can participate in a costume contest among grade levels on Friday, October 27th. The grade level with the most votes for best costumes will be awarded a Free Dress Day pass for Wednesday, November 1st.

Windsor Charter Academy welcomes all families and visitors to our Veterans Day Assembly on November 11th at 2:00 p.m.! To ensure the safety of our schools, we will require all visitors attending the Veterans Day Assembly to have a background check on file.

The University of Northern Colorado (UNC) Math Contest is open to any middle or high school student interested in math! The first round of questions is sent to Windsor Charter Academy from UNC and administered in-house at WCA during a 2-day window. This is scheduled for Thursday, October 26th or Friday, October 27th.

Windsor Charter Academy is excited to establish its first student-led news crew! Ten high school students will be hired as part of our inaugural team. Students will report on sports games, performing arts productions, and other after-school events!

CSU’s College of Business will once again be hosting the SPARK Innovation Conference for middle and high school students on October 27th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Richardson Design Center.

Skillman Photography will be at the MS/HS on Wednesday, October 18th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for picture retakes. Forms will be available at the front desk.

Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences are approaching! These conferences will be held Thursday, October 12th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium.
