The Speech and Debate team is kicking off again this year! If your student is interested in joining and missed the informational meeting on September 11th, please have them talk to Dr. Innocenti about participating in this up-and-coming team! Practices will begin on September 17th and will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Jostens will be at our school on September 19th from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. (during HS lunch) to collect the graduation and sophomore class ring order forms. Orders may also be placed online through the Jostens website.

National Merit Scholar Qualifying Test
Registration for the PSAT/NMSQT opened on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. Students should register for this optional exam if they are seeking National Merit Scholarship recognition and/or a National Merit Scholarship. This is the ONLY PSAT exam that will qualify students for the National Merit Recognition.

Student Chromebook Collection
On May 22nd, all 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students will turn in their school-issued Chromebook and charger after their last final exam. Students with an off-block during Period 4 will turn in their device and charger to the Media Center after their last final. Each Chromebook has a blue and silver inventory tag with an asset number.
Host Family Needed for Next School Year
The STS Foundation Student Exchange is looking for a host family at Windsor Charter Academy for the 2024-2025 school year to host a 15-year-old student, Sergio, from Spain. He is a high school student arriving this summer, loves to play basketball, and describes himself as polite, sporty, and studious.
Firebird Fest
We are looking forward to Firebird Fest on May 21st! Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are invited to join us after school from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to enjoy games, inflatable slides, obstacle courses, a dunk tank, yearbook signing, and other events! All high school students need to be picked up by 12:30 p.m.
