Students participated in our last Firebird Strong activity of the year on Wednesday during Advisory Class. For Mental Health Awareness month, the focus for the activity was mental health awareness and supporting positive mental health. Middle school students participated in a Sources of Strength activity of “What Helps Me” in identifying three coping skills to help them through difficult situations. We encourage parents to keep the conversation going on at home by talking with their student about the three things that they identified that help them! Parents can share some of your coping strategies and families can practice different coping strategies together.
