Congratulations to Windsor Charter Academy's High School VEX Robotics Team, “Fractal,” for winning the state championship title at the Colorado VEX Robotics Competition this past weekend! In addition, WCA's Middle School VEX Robotics Team, M&M McFlurries, received an invitation to compete at the VEX World Championships!

After Prom is a safe and fun way for our students to enjoy themselves and celebrate the end of the year with one another! One of the most exciting parts of After Prom are the prizes that our students can win by attending this event! If you are interested in donating a prize, please sign up here.

Lace up your sneakers and get ready to run, walk, skip, or dance your way around Eastman Park as we promote health and wellness for our WCA students, friends, and families! WCA has partnered with Run.Windsor and Windsor Gives to host our first Friends & Family Run Festival on Sunday, April 7th. Participants can come anytime between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. to see how many laps they can complete!

Are you interested in earning volunteer hours? We are seeking a few volunteers to serve in our kitchens or in our organic garden. If you are interested in volunteering, please reach out to Jeannine Davison, Director of Food Services.

Windsor Charter Academy’s Booster Club is excited to host its first Barbie Bash! Barbie enthusiasts are invited for a fun evening of glamour, giggles, and groovy moves!

This week, a message was sent out by the Weld RE-4 School District regarding their Annual Family Check-In. Windsor Charter Academy families may have mistakenly received this email and text message. If your student is enrolled at Windsor Charter Academy, you do not have to complete an Annual Family Check-In.

The countdown is on! This is the last week to guarantee your student will receive a yearbook. We will order a few extra copies to sell at the end of the year. It is unlikely that a book will be available for your child if you don’t order a yearbook by January 26th!

Friday, January 26th is National Kawasaki Disease Day! We encourage all students to wear a red top with jeans. Elementary and middle school students can also wear uniform bottoms.

We would like to extend our appreciation to the Kawasaki Kids Foundation for sponsoring our teacher appreciation lunch at all three schools! The PTC of the elementary, middle, and high schools would like to thank this dedicated foundation and the Logan family who continually support our schools!

On February 14th, the Windsor Charter Academy Boys' Varsity Basketball Team will play Frontier Academy at Ball Arena in Denver! Participants will have the opportunity to watch the Firebirds play, and then stay to watch the Denver Nuggets game.

We are in the process of enrolling our students for the 2024-2025 school year! We are asking each family to fill out their child's enrollment information online. It is of utmost importance that we receive this information so that we have current contact information for our students and their families

Windsor Charter Academy continues to build a strong high school girls' basketball program! Our girls’ team recently launched a crowdfunding campaign. Funds raised in this campaign will be used to build a strong athletics program and allow our players to augment their skills.

The Windsor Charter Academy Boys’ Basketball Team is hosting its Third Annual Cornhole Tournament! Join us on Saturday, January 27, 2024 for a fun-filled tournament to support our Firebirds!

WCA’s High School National Honor Society is excited to host Parents’ Night Out on Friday, December 8th! Parents will have an opportunity to drop their students off for a night of games and fun while parents can sneak in some holiday shopping.

Join us on December 7th from 8:15 to 9:00 a.m. for Coffee with the Counselors! The event will be held in the elementary school cafeteria, but the counselors from all three schools will be in attendance.
