Tryout & Registration Details
All elementary school students are invited to tryout for our school talent show! We invite our best music, variety, and voice acts to participate!
Talent Show Categories
MUSIC: Includes any instrument or combination of instrument and voice.
VARIETY: Includes movement acts, dance, comedy, gymnastics, martial arts, magic, etc.
VOICE: Includes singers performing to a recorded track.
Details:
Costumes, lyrics, and actions must be school appropriate.
Performance time is limited to 2 minutes.
Solos and groups are welcome. Each group member must complete a Registration and Permission Form. Participants may only perform in one number.
Registration Form: To participate, please fill out our Registration and Permission Form.
Registration Deadline: Friday, February 17th
Tryouts: Friday, March 3rd from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the ES Gym
Participants must attend tryouts to perform in the main event. Feedback will be given in the areas of: preparation, stage presence, age appropriateness, audience appeal, and creativity.
Main Event: Wednesday, March 8th from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. in the ES Gym. All performers should arrive at 5:30 p.m. and the performance will start at 6:00 p.m.
Participants are responsible for providing their own show-ready music. If you have digital version of your song (MP3/MP4), please send it to Mrs. Sommerfeld. Singers must use a karaoke-type track so the original voice cannot be heard. Show-ready music must be emailed or turned in to Mrs. Sommerfeld by Friday, February 17th.
