Tryout & Registration Details
All elementary school students are invited to try out for our school talent show! We invite our best music, variety, and voice acts to participate!
Talent Show Categories
MUSIC: Includes any instrument or combination of instrument and voice.
VARIETY: Includes movement acts, dance, comedy, gymnastics, martial arts, magic, etc.
VOICE: Includes singers performing on a recorded track.
Details:
Costumes, lyrics, and actions must be school-appropriate.
Performance time is limited to 2 minutes.
Solos and groups are welcome. Each group member must complete a Registration and Permission Form. Participants may only perform in one number.

Registration Deadline: Friday, February 23rd
Tryouts: Tuesday, February 27th, from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. in the ES Gym
Participants must attend tryouts to perform in the main event. Feedback will be given in the areas of preparation, stage presence, age appropriateness, audience appeal, and creativity.
Main Event: Wednesday, March 6th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the ES Gym. All performers should arrive at 5:30 p.m., and the performance will start at 6:00 p.m.
Student Council will sell concessions during the Talent Show, including soda, chips, pizza, and flowers.
Music: Participants are responsible for providing their own show-ready music. If you have a digital version of your song (MP3/MP4), please send it to Mrs. Sommerfeld. Singers must use a karaoke-type track so the original voice cannot be heard. Show-ready music must be emailed or turned in to Mrs. Sommerfeld by Friday, February 23rd.
