If you are a parent of a current 5th grader, you are invited to join us for our Changing Bodies Parent Information Webinar! Our 5th grade students will soon start their Changing Bodies education segment in class to learn about the early stages of puberty. We invite our 5th grade parents to learn more about what will be covered in the Changing Bodies puberty curriculum and how it will be presented to students in class. This is an opportunity to ask questions and have discussion about the content to be taught.
Changing Bodies Parent Information Webinar
When: Wednesday, March 10th
Time: 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Registration is required to attend this event.
On March 1st, students will be sent home with a permission form with additional information. This permission form will need to be completed and returned by Friday, March 12th. If the form is not returned, we will assume your child has permission to participate in the class.
Students will be viewing two videos during this class. The content of the videos will be discussed during the Parent Information Webinar. The "Preview of a Birth" video is on a DVD and can be checked out from the Health Office.
