Update: Due to an already scheduled all-school drill on October 4 at 8:30am, we need to move our "Bring Your Parent/Guardian to PE Week" to Monday October 11. The only classes affected by this change are Weisgerber and Yackey. If you have kids in Mrs. Weisgerber's (8:15am-9:00am) or Yackey's (9:05am-9:50am) class, please join us on Monday, October 11 during your student's assigned PE time.
If you have kids in a different class, the change does not affect your already scheduled day or time.
October 4th through 8th is Bring Your Parent to PE Week! Each child will have the opportunity to select one parent to join them in their regularly scheduled physical education class.
Parents who wish to be a part of this fun-filled event need to have an up-to-date background check completed at least 48 hours prior to entering the building. If you do not already have a current CBI background check on file with WCA, please fill out the form using this link. Please ensure that this process is completed by Tuesday, September 28th if you are planning to participate Bring Your Parent to PE Week. Please be on the lookout for addition information and sign-ups emailed by our PE teachers through Infinite Campus.
New Fast Pass Process
For this event, we are utilizing our new Fast Pass process. Parents who have a current background check on file will be issued a new Fast Pass. Fast Passes will be sent home with your child on Friday. Parents with Fast Passes can easily show their pass to enter all of our school events. All parents will be asked to show a photo ID. We recommend making a photo copy of your driver license, cutting it out, and placing it in the plastic sleeve behind the Fast Pass. A lanyard and plastic sleeve will be provided for all Fast Passes.
If your child does not come home with a Fast Pass, please make sure that you have a CBI Background Check on file. All visitors who have submitted a background check at least 48-hours prior to the event, but who have not received a Fast Pass, will be required to check in at the front desk for the event!
