We are excited to share with you that our school will be participating in “Bring Your Parent/Guardian to PE Week” from March 20th to 24th. Daily physical activity has many benefits for children, such as increasing their energy, focus, and readiness to learn, as well as reducing stress and anxiety. Being active is always important! Physical activity benefits people of all ages and helping our students’ families be active together is important.
We hope that you will participate in one of your child’s physical education lessons during “Bring Your Parent to PE Week” in March. This event will provide families a better understanding of the teaching and learning that takes place in physical education! Participants will experience firsthand the fun and engaging activities that help to keep your child healthy and active.
Important Notice: For guests who wish to be a part of this fun-filled event, please ensure that they have an up-to-date background check completed at least 48 hours prior to entering the building. If they do not already have a current CBI background check on file with WCA, please fill out the form using this link. Please ensure that this process is completed by Tuesday, March 14th if you are planning to attend “Bring Your Parent to PE Week.”
Your influence is important for the support of physical education in our schools. We look forward to sharing physical education with your family!
