This time of year sparks giving in many areas and at WCA! We would like to give back to a community that is often overlooked during the holiday season. Residents living in memory care communities can struggle remembering day-to-day events but memories of their past can often be vivid. Childhood memories of having a favorite stuffed animal can bring comfort to them during this stage of their life!
If your family would like to donate gently-used stuffies, we will be collecting them until December 15th. Students will be making Christmas cards during their down time, which will be hand tied with ribbon to each stuffed animal.
Stuffies will be delivered the week of December 19th. Families who want to be a part of the giving process are more than welcome to email claire.richardson@windsorcharteracademy.org to get the delivery schedule!
