Innovation Night will be held on Friday, October 20th!

Our elementary school needs Bird Watchers! Bird Watchers is a safety program initiated by our school to keep a watchful eye over our Firebirds. Bird Watchers are positive role models who provide an extra layer of support and security during the school day or at large events.

Vision and Hearing Screenings will be conducted on Tuesday, October 10th. In order to accurately test your child's vision, please make sure they have their glasses with them at school on this upcoming date.

We have exciting news to share - we were able to hire a club advisor for Cooking Club! The first session for K-2 students no longer has a tentative start date. Registration will open tomorrow (Friday, September 1st) at noon. Be sure to mark your calendars for future sessions (for all grades) because this club fills up quickly!

We appreciate our parents for helping to adhere to the student dress code and helping students dress for success. Per policy, we ask that shorts, skirts, and dresses be of modest length and that jeans are free of holes and fraying.

All student items including lunch boxes, jackets, sweaters, etc., need to be labeled with student names. Items are returned to students on Wednesdays if they are labeled with a name (not initials).

As this school year comes to a close, summer is a great opportunity to make sure your child continues to progress academically! John Hopkins University studies show that students can lose three to five months of learning over the summer.

Fifth grade students have been learning about the Renaissance time period over the past several weeks! On May 4th at 8:30 a.m., students will celebrate their learning with a fun Core Knowledge event.

We are excited to host Field Day and May Fair on May 16th! This year, we have a country western theme. This end-of-year event is a special tradition at our school! 

We are excited to celebrate our 5th grade students as they make their way to middle school! Our 5th Grade Continuation Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 17th at 8:25 a.m. After the Continuation Ceremony, students will leave for their field trip to Rollerland. The field trip is a student-only event.
