We are excited to offer a VEX IQ Robotics Summer Camp to all incoming 4th - 8th grade students for the 2020-2021 school year! This camp is open to the public.

We are excited about our Morning with Mom event on March 5th from 7:15 a.m. to 8:10 a.m. in the gymnasium. Come enjoy juice, donuts, muffins, and other tasty treats with your children!

Our Nutrition Department is very excited to offer our students a wider variety of fruits and vegetables as part of their school lunch. Recently, we updated our salad bar offerings in accordance with federal requirements and we want to ensure our parents are aware of the changes.

Do you have a master builder that loves to work with LEGO bricks? If so, join us for LEGO Club where students will have open play time with LEGO sets, giving them an opportunity to develop and expand their creativity and imagination. Our LEGO Club will be split into two sessions: Grades 3rd-5th and 2nd-4th. Each session will be 4 weeks long.

Although high school is many years away for many of our elementary school families, we want all of our families to understand the long-term investment they are making by having their child attend Windsor Charter Academy. We are excited to announce that our students will be able to earn an Associate in Science degree at the start of the 2020-2021 school year. Our early college opportunity means families can save nearly $60,000 in college tuition, per student!

The Clearview Library District and the Clearview Library District Friends and Foundation is hosting New York Times bestselling author William Kamkwamba on Saturday, February 22nd. Prior to the event, guests are invited to attend an Innovation Fair in the WHS cafeteria. Windsor Charter Academy will have a booth at the fair and Mrs. Shaler will be showcasing our students’ STEM projects!

Our high school National Honor Society is hosting a Valentine’s Day Parents’ Night Out on Friday, February 21st from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at our high school. Enjoy a night out while your children do crafts, listen to music, watch movies, and eat snacks!

Our school is committed to the safety of all of our students and families. The WCA Safety Committee is hosting a Cyber Security and Sexting Parent Information Night on Wednesday, February 26th from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in room 184 at our high school.

We wanted to inform our parents that the Town of Windsor just installed a "no left turn" sign at the intersection of Diamond Valley Drive and Academy Court. Please note that this protocol is for pick-up and drop-off times only. The Windsor Police Department will start enforcing this traffic protocol on Thursday, January 30th.

Join our Box Tops class competition and help our school raise money! We will collect the traditional pink Box Tops from now through March 19. The class with the most Box Tops collected will receive an extra recess in April. 

On Monday, January 27th, all students need to wear their formal dress uniform. Our elementary school formal dress uniform consists of blue bottoms, a white dress shirt, and a school tie.

Parent-teacher conferences will be held from February 3rd through February 13th. Classroom teachers will create a  Sign-Up Genius and share the sign ups with their students’ parents. Our spring conferences are optional.

We are excited to invite families to our special lunch! Our Valentine's Day lunch will be held on Wednesday, February 12th. Please list the name for each guest on the registration form and pre-pay to receive a bracelet to attend the Valentine's Day lunch. The last day to register will be Monday, February 3rd.

Students are invited to wear jeans on Thursday, February 13th if they wear Valentine’s Day colors. This will be considered a free jeans day.

Our Health Office has a large collection of lost glasses. If your child is missing their glasses please check with our health aides to see if they have them.

Our School Safety Committee is hosting an ALICE Parent Information Night on Wednesday, January 22nd from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in our high school gymnasium. If you are interested in attending, please register here.

On Tuesday, January 21st we will begin following a new protocol for visitor sign-in at the elementary school. Our new sign-in process utilize new software that allows us to increase the security of our schools.
