We are committed to providing the safest possible environment for our students and staff and have always taken proactive steps in securing our schools to ensure they are a safe place to learn, work, and grow. Our school-wide safety program is called ALICE. Our School Safety Committee is hosting an ALICE Parent Information Night on Wednesday, January 22nd from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in our high school gymnasium. If you are interested in attending, please register here.

We will also have a presentation from the Juvenile Gun Safety Coalition by the Larimer County District Attorney's Office. In this presentation, parents will learn how to discuss firearm safety with their children, review data on local firearm theft, and demonstrate safe handling and storage of a firearm. They will also review how you can encourage your student to report concerning behaviors using tools such as Safe2Tell.  Free gun locks, donated by the Juvenile Gun Safety Coalition, will be available to all WCA families in attendance at this safety presentation.  Please help us ensure that we have enough locks available by registering here.

If you have any questions, please contact Cody Mason, Head of School Security.
