Concurrent Enrollment Update

Our Executive Board recently approved a revision to our policy on the number of high school credits students can earn in concurrent enrollment courses. After researching other schools and districts on their approach, we found there is no standard method to how schools award high school credit for concurrent courses. We also found that many schools award more high school credit than our policy allowed. Effective this semester, all college courses with 3 or more credits will be worth one high school credit. WCA wants to honor the work our students are doing in their concurrent enrollment courses!
