National Honor Society Booth at the Fall Festival

Windsor Charter Academy’s National Honor Society Booth was a huge success at the 2021 Fall Festival Celebration, which occurred this past Saturday, October 30th. The booth featured two levels of “Cup Pong” for students and parents to participate in, and gave prizes such as candy, goldfish crackers, and real pet goldfish.
Younger students such as those from the elementary school returned to the booth throughout the Fall Festival to continue trying until they were able to succeed; once they were able to win, they loved getting to pick out their fish from the tank. Older students enjoyed trying out various trick shots, and parents rejoiced in being able to relive games they played during their younger years.
Even the volunteers will remember this experience forever. The members of the National Honor Society who came to the event were able to help with booth setup and operation as they chased ping pong balls around the booth, rescued goldfish to have them put into new homes, and cleaned spilt fish water out of their cars after transporting fish from store to school. Way to create an activity that will be remembered for years to come, Firebirds!
