Homecoming Week is right around the corner! Homecoming Week runs from September 30th through October 5th, with many activities to celebrate our Firebirds!
Thursday, September 26th from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Friday, September 27th from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m.
Parents (ONLY) are invited to decorate their student’s locker for Homecoming Week! The HS Parent-Teacher Club (PTC) wants to continue this tradition for our students and build school spirit for our Firebirds! Parents are invited to bring their own decorating materials while keeping in mind the following restrictions/guidelines:
No balloons of any kind.
No stickers may be placed directly on the locker - lockers may be covered with butcher/wrapping paper/poster board and have stickers applied to them.
The decor may not wrap around the top or bottom of the locker door, as this will impede its ability to latch shut.
No streamers may be hung across the ceiling or from wall to wall.
Locker decorations must be removed before winter break.
The dimensions of the lockers are 9.5 inches wide by 34 inches long. A 6-inch by 5-inch area in the center-left quadrant of the locker door needs to remain exposed for the students to enter their combos and open and close their locker doors. Please bring scissors and extra materials to navigate decorating around this area of the door.
This is a parents-only event to create something special for our students! Here are some fun examples to spark some fun decorating ideas:
