Our Firebirds participated in a cross country meet last week! Top WCA were Jackson Dumm (21:31), Keegan Koonce (21:50), and Riley Unruh (22:07). Gia Sharma was our fastest female runner with a time of 24:54!
Keegan Koonce, a 10th grader at WCA, is our cross country Scheels Athlete of the Week. Never having participated in cross country, Keegan was placed on JV for our first meet. He shocked his team and coaches when he came in with the second fastest time on the entire team! We are proud of you, Keegan! He’s a great motivator for anyone who wants to try a new sport!
