We are excited for our Firebirds to participate in high school athletics! Our winter season dates are outlined below:
Families with athletes are required to attend the HS Winter Sports Meeting on Thursday, November 17th, 2022 at 5:30 p.m. in MS room 145/147 to receive additional information about the winter sports season.
To be eligible to participate in high school athletics, families need to register their athletes on our 8to18 sports registration platform. In addition to registration, all athletes must have a current physical on file before the first day of practice/tryouts. More information can be found on our athletics webpage. In-Person Registration Finalization: Parents/guardians need to finalize the registration process and come to the MS Commons to verify the registration process. Parents will receive Sports Permit Form that verifies their registration completion. Athletes will give this form to their coach on the first day of tryouts.
The winter registration in-person registration will be November 2nd-4th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm in the HS Commons.
The spring registration in-person registration will be February 22nd-24th from 3:00 to 6:00 pm in the HS Commons.
Pay Athletic Fees - CASH or CHECK ONLY. Athletic fees must be paid in full before the official season begins. If an athlete does not make the team, the cash or check will be refunded.
High School Athletic Fee: $125 per sport, capped at two sports
Middle School Athletic Fee: $100 per sport, capped at two sports
**After an athlete is registered, the Athletic Director will verify that the athlete has completed all the required paperwork and is cleared to participate in athletics. Athletes cannot participate in athletics at Windsor Charter Academy until all forms are complete and approved. Upon approval, families will receive a Sports Permit to give to the coach on the first day of tryouts. Completing the registration process and submitting forms does not guarantee an athlete has made the team.
Gate Fees: This year we will be charging gate fees for all high school athletic events. See below for additional information. Passes are sold on our webpage.
