In a thrilling matchup, WCA Firebirds faced off with the Strasbourg Indians. At the start of the game, both teams had undefeated records! During the second period, the Firebirds began to take control, racking up point after point with relentless offense. The atmosphere in the gym was electric!
In the second half, key players, including Dayton L. and Frankie J., rose to the occasion for the Firebirds, executing plays with remarkable precision and confidence. Their impressive defense created turnovers and effectively stifled the Indians' attempts to narrow the gap. The game concluded with a commanding victory for the Firebirds, who triumphed over the Strasbourg Indians with a decisive final score of 77-55. The Firebirds continue their undefeated season!
WCA HS Boys’ JV Basketball vs. Wiggins High School
Last Friday night, the JV boys’ basketball team defeated Wiggins High School with a score of 69-39. The Firebirds had a great start, with a total of 23 points by the end of the first quarter, while the Wiggins’ High School Tigers trailed by 16 points. The Firebirds showed great determination, concentration, and defense throughout the game. From the second quarter to the end of the game, the Firebirds demonstrated impeccable shooting and maintained a lead of 10 points or more. The JV boys’ basketball team worked smoothly together throughout the game. At the end of the game, WCA scored 69 points compared to Wiggins’ 39. Congratulations, Firebirds!
