WCA vs. Stargate Charter School
Varsity Game
On March 21st, the WCA High School Boys' Varsity Volleyball team faced off against Stargate Charter School in an exciting match held at the WCA HS Gym. The atmosphere was charged! Despite their hard work and cohesive teamwork, the Firebirds were unable to secure a win, losing with a score of 0-2.
JV Game
The WCA High School Boys' JV Volleyball Team took to the court against Stargate Charter School in an intense matchup at the WCA HS Gym. The team put in a commendable effort, but unfortunately, they were unable to secure a victory, ending the game with a score of 0-2.
WCA vs. Severance High School
In a challenging match at WCA’s Firebird Facility, the boys' varsity volleyball team faced off against Severance High School, ultimately suffering a 0-3 defeat. The Firebirds struggled to find their rhythm, encountering difficulties in both attacking and defending, which significantly impacted their ability to secure a winning set.
Despite the setback, the Firebirds remained optimistic! The atmosphere in the gym was lively, with supporters cheering on the Firebirds. The team is resolute and is looking forward to earning wins in the coming weeks!
WCA vs. STEM School Highlands Ranch
On March 10, 2025, the Windsor Charter Academy Varsity Boys’ Volleyball team faced off against the STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans in a home non-conference match. In the first set of the game, both teams fought well, with a close score throughout the set. Despite this, the Firebirds claimed victory in the set, scoring 25-20, which gave a good start to the matchup.
In the second set, the Firebirds maintained a slim lead over the Spartans. The Firebirds won the set 25-23, defending the lead and their momentum. Going into the third and last set of the game, WCA did not falter, and kept their lead, securing the victory in the last set, 25-21, and claiming the game. Way to go, Firebirds!
WCA vs. Fort Lupton High School
On March 3, 2025, the Windsor Charter Academy Varsity Boys’ Volleyball team faced off against the Fort Lupton Bluedevils in a home conference match. In the first set, both teams fought well, with the score being very close, but the Firebirds came out on top with a score of 25-22, winning the first set. In the second and third sets, both teams traded victories, with the Bluedevils claiming the win in set two, with a score of 25-21, and the Firebirds claiming set three with a score of 25-8.
Going into sets four and five, both teams fought hard. In set four, after a hard fight, the Bluedevils took the win, beating the Firebirds 25-20. In set five, the last of the game, the Firebirds fought to attempt to regain the lead. Unfortunately, they were defeated once again, with a score of 15-12, with the Bluedevils gaining the victory of the set and the game.
