Thankfulness can help us build connections with others. Currently, students may be feeling overwhelmed and isolated, our nation can feel divided, and many are uncertain of what the holidays will look like as we see a rise in coronavirus cases. Showing gratitude can help families re-connect and support one another.
We ask that our parents take a moment to watch this 3-minute video with their students on the importance of saying thank you and letting others know what you need.
So often we may think about what we appreciate about others, but not share our gratitude with them. In addition, we may not be willing to say when we need to be recognized for what we do. Challenge yourself to share your gratitude and gratitude needs with someone else. The impact you make may be greater than what you expect. Gratitude can spread exponentially!
