School Meal Updates and Weekly Meal Packages

Due to COVID-19, we are asking all families to check our webpage frequently for updates to menu items and to sign up for weekly meal packages.

Menu Items and Substitutions

Due to COVID-19, Colorado schools are experiencing a steady increase in demand for student meals. This demand has led to shortages of some items which requires our Food Services staff to make menu substitutions. Despite our best efforts, substitutions are likely to continue for the foreseeable future. When a menu item needs to be substituted, the date and item substitution will be noted on our webpage and on the TITAN Family Portal. We appreciate all families and students for their patience!

Weekly Meal Packages for Online Families Only

Middle and high school students are now in our school buildings 4-days a week. We will now only be offering meal packages to our online families.

We are asking online families (Calvert, EdOptions, and Courseware students only) who are interested in a meal package to sign up for a meal package each week. Families are asked to complete this form by noon every Monday if they want to pick up a meal package on Wednesday. In order to have time to prepare the proper number of meal packages, the form will be disabled at noon on Mondays and then re-enabled on Wednesday afternoons. Please do not sign up for a meal package if your family is unable to pick up their package on Wednesdays between 11:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

Meals are available to any student up to the age of 18. Please be aware that meals may contain allergens.

Pick-Up Instructions

  • All meals can be picked up at the front entrance of the middle school.

  • For the safety of our staff, please wear a mask.

  • Please do not get out of your car.

  • When you pull up to the front entrance, your meals will be brought out to you.

If you have any questions, please email Jon Reynolds, Director of Food Services.

Free Meals through May 2021

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) extended its nationwide program offering emergency meals to students through the end of the 2020/2021 school year. This means that all Windsor Charter Academy students will receive free breakfast and lunch meals through the end of the school year.

Breakfast and lunch service for our in-person learners will continue as normal; the only difference is that student meal accounts will not be charged.

Families are encouraged to utilize free federal resource while it is available. To receive free meals after these benefits expire, families can apply for the Free and Reduced Price Meal Program through the TITAN Family Portal.
