On May 18th (8th grade only) and May 19th (6th & 7th grades), all students will turn in their school-issued Chromebook and charger after their last final exam. Each Chromebook has a blue and silver inventory tag with an asset number.
As stated in the Student & Parent Handbook, "Any damage to school owned technology will result in a $25 fee per incident. Any damage that has been deemed negligent and/or irreparable will result in a charge for the full amount of repair or replacement, up to $400. Loss of school owned technology will result in a charge for the full amount of replacement. Any damage or removal of inventory tags will result in a $5 fee per instance. Lost and unusable chargers will result in a charge for the full cost of replacement, up to $65."
Students may choose to replace a lost charger at a lower cost by purchasing the charger found on this Amazon link. Students who do not turn in a charger will be charged a fee of up to $65. Students are responsible for removing all stickers from the device before turning it in. Chromebooks with stickers will be considered damaged and result in a fee of up to $25.
