Students may by presented with a coupon for a Firebird Dress day when celebrating their birthday, earn Honor Roll status, score well on standardized assessments, or demonstrate The 8 Keys of Excellence in a superior way. These are not “Free Dress” days. Students who participate in a “Firebird Dress” day are to abide by the student handbook with regards to decency.
What is acceptable on “Firebird Dress” days?
Tops that adhere to the general guidelines
A sweatshirt or hoodie with a logo bigger than a credit card
Athletic shorts that come to the top of the knees
Sweatpants or athletic joggers
Jeans without significant rips/tears
Baseball hats
