UNC Math Contest Open to 6-12th Graders

The University of Northern Colorado (UNC) Math Contest is open to any middle or high school student interested in math! The first round of questions is sent to Windsor Charter Academy from UNC and administered in-house at WCA during a 2-day window. This is scheduled for Friday, October 25th and Monday, October 28th. The contest is 1.5 hours long, and only paper and pencil may be used; no calculators or other electronic devices are allowed. This contest will test students’ creativity and problem-solving skills! If your student is interested in participating or you have any questions, please contact your student’s math teacher.

The first round of problems will be sent to UNC to be scored. Based on the results of the first round, some students will then be invited by the College of Mathematics at UNC to attend the 2nd round of the contest in February 2025.

Please reach out to your student’s math teacher with any questions!
