Spring conferences will be scheduled from January 30th to February 10th. Teachers will reach out to parents if they would like to schedule an individual or group conference. If you would like to request a conference with any of your students' teachers, please email the teacher to set up a time.

We are excited to announce that our middle school students can participate in a variety of new extracurricular activities in spring 2022. They include: Art Club (Spring Session), Battle of the Books, Firebird Ambassador Program, and Theatre Program.

On Wednesday, December 7th, our 8th grade families attended our High School Parent Information Night. If you were unable to attend the meeting, we encourage you to watch the recording. There was a lot of important information shared and the attendees asked several great questions!

On Monday, December 12th middle school students will have Sources of Strength Assembly. This assembly is for students and staff only. Students should come wearing the color of their group. Students should know their color group.

WCA’s National Junior Honor Society will be selling hot chocolate on December 14th and 15th before school, starting at 7:35 a.m. Cups will cost $1 each. Proceeds go to National Junior Honor Society activities!

All current 8th grade students and their families are invited to attend our High School Parent Information Night on Wednesday, December 7th at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom.

Join us for an evening of music on Thursday, December 8th at 5:30 p.m. for our middle school winter music concert! Students have been working hard and learning new skills. They are excited to demonstrate their learning at the concert!

On November 30th and December 1st, we will be on a testing schedule to allow our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students to take their iReady benchmark test.

The Middle School Art Department would like to cordially invite parents/guardians to complete a gallery walk of WCA's fall semester artists on Thursday, December 8th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Work from 6th, 7th, and 8th grade art classes will be on display in the first floor hallway and Media Center.

Our middle school students are getting close to the end of the semester! Please note early dismissal days on December 14th and 15th. Students will be released at 11:04 a.m.

In preparation for 8th Grade Continuation, we are in need of pictures of 8th grade students for their continuation video! One of the best elements of 8th grade Continuation is the slideshow displaying pictures of our 8th graders at various stages of their childhood.

Congratulations to our 1st Quarter Honor Roll recipients. These students will be recognized at school and receive a coupon for a “High School Dress Day”, to be used on Wednesday, November 2nd.

The University of Northern Colorado (UNC) Math Contest is open to any middle or high school student interested in math! The first round of questions is sent to Windsor Charter Academy from UNC and administered in-house at WCA during a 2-day window. This is scheduled for Thursday, November 3rd or Friday, November 4th.

Game Club is open to all grades and is intended to give students an opportunity to interact with others in a fun and competitive environment! The most common games played are Magic the Gathering, chess, checkers, role-playing games, and any other game available in the Media Center.

Windsor Charter Academy welcomes all families and visitors to our Veterans Day Assembly on November 11th at 2:00 p.m.! To ensure the safety of our schools, we will require all visitors attending the Veterans Day Assembly to have a background check on file.

Our first middle school dance will be on Friday, November 5th from 3:45 to 6:00 p.m.! Tickets will be sold in advance and at the door for $5.00.

In an effort to decrease the amount of students with Ds and Fs, students who do not attend Academic Support on Thursdays will be required to attend Lunch Support on Fridays. This time serves as an opportunity for students to catch up on work to raise their grades

We will be celebrating Halloween at school on Friday, October 28th! Students are invited to wear their costumes to school but must follow the guidelines below.

Students, ages 9-12, are invited to join Clearview Library District’s “Not Your Boring Book Club!”
