The Windsor Charter Academy Middle School Boys’ Basketball Team has had a busy start to their season!
November 13th: WCA Firebirds vs. St. Mary’s Catholic School Angels
The Firebirds faced off against St. Mary’s Catholic School on Wednesday, November 13th. The B Team showcased their skills in the first game of the night, scoring 25 points, while the Angels struggled to impact the scoreboard. Throughout the third and fourth quarters, the Firebirds racked up additional points. The Firebirds ended the game with a 46-0 victory.
Next up was the A Team, which also performed well, finishing with 44 points to the Angels' 18 points. The Firebirds took an early lead, and the score was 29 to 11 at halftime. In the second half, the Angels improved and narrowed the score gap, but the Firebirds maintained their advantage in the end.
Overall, it was a successful evening for the Firebirds!
November 20, 2024: WCA Firebirds vs. West Ridge Academy
On Wednesday, November 20th, the Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds achieved a solid victory against West Ridge Academy, demonstrating their skill and teamwork. The B Team started the evening with a strong performance, finishing the game with a score of 36 to 6, allowing West Ridge Academy to score just three points in the first half.
The momentum carried on as the A Team took the field, securing a commendable score of 56 while limiting West Ridge Academy to 18 points. With both teams successfully winning their games, the Firebirds ended another evening with a win!
