Friday Firebird Awards

Each week, our teachers nominate one student from each grade level to receive a Friday Firebird Award. This award is given to students who set a wonderful example by demonstrating The 8 Keys of Excellence!

Bryce B., a 6th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mrs. Gonikishvili shared, "Bryce demonstrates incredible ‘Ownership’ and ‘Flexibility’ in everything he does. He consistently uses his time wisely, stays focused, and takes responsibility for his learning. Bryce is also a great problem solver, adapts to challenges with a positive attitude, and helps others along the way. He gets along well with his classmates, offers support when needed, and contributes to a positive classroom environment. I truly enjoy having him in Spanish class, and Book Club, and his dedication and adaptability make him a great role model! Great job, Bryce!"


Corban C., a 7th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mr. Winn shared, "Corban regularly demonstrates ‘Commitment’ and ‘Ownership'. Corban brings a great attitude and a willingness to learn to Spanish class each and every day. Awesome job, Corban!"


Camila M., a 7th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mrs. Gonikishvili shared, "Camila continuously has an outstanding ‘Commitment’ and ‘This Is It!’ attitude. She is a conscientious student who always puts in her best effort, volunteers eagerly, and stays engaged in learning. Beyond her own success, she consistently helps and encourages her classmates, making our classroom a more positive and supportive place. Camila sets a great example of dedication and enthusiasm, and she truly deserves this recognition! Well done, Camila!"


Joshua C., an 8th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mr. Winn shared, "Josh consistently demonstrates a ‘This Is It!’ attitude and shows ‘Flexibility.’ When asked, he helps others in our class by answering their questions about the material so they can demonstrate success. Thank you, Josh, for being a kind and considerate Firebird!"
