Each week, our teachers nominate students to receive a Friday Firebird Award. This award is given to students who set a wonderful example by demonstrating The Eight Keys of Excellence!
Eli G., a 6th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! A teacher shared, "E.J. has consistently shown dedication to owning his learning in both math and WIN. His commitment to getting the most out of his education is admirable. Great job, EJ!"
Milah S., a 6th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! A teacher shared, "Milah is incredibly kind to everyone in class. She comes ready to learn and is willing to take on challenges! Thank you for being an awesome Firebird, Milah!"
Emma S., a 7th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! A teacher shared, "Every day after advisory or study hall, Emma has stayed after class to help clean the room, straighten it up, and talk. I appreciate her willingness to help without being asked. Thank you, Emma!"
Jake L. and Dillon H., 8th graders, were recognized as Firebird Award winners! Mrs. Seyboldt shared, "Dillon and Jake took charge in leading the student section to clean up all the trash before leaving the gym at the volleyball games on Monday after school. They stated, ‘It was easy because there were a bunch of us cleaning up, and it only took a couple of minutes.' I love the positive leadership roles they took! Well done!"
Sidney B., an 8th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! A teacher shared, "Sidney shows up on time and ready to work, every time! She is always willing to try and gives an answer even when uncertain. She is committed to doing her best, and it shows. Sidney also showed ‘Flexibility’ by being willing to switch lockers with another student who needed a different one. Way to go, Sidney!"
Austin K., a 7th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mrs. Keenan shared, "Austin always greets people in the hallway and wishes teachers and students well. I appreciate that he smiles, gives his best effort, and is genuinely kind to everyone. Thank you for always making me smile! You are an outstanding Firebird! "
