Each week, our teachers nominate students to receive a Friday Firebird Award. This award is given to students who set a wonderful example by demonstrating The Eight Keys of Excellence!

Rhys H.M., a 6th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Ms. Cross shared, "Rhys has really improved his focus in history class this week. He demonstrated the ‘This Is It!’ key multiple times by focusing his energy on the task at hand. With more enthusiasm, he has joined in class activities and spread positivity. Great job, Rhys!"

Selah N., a 6th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Ms. Cramer shared, "Stacking chairs in the art room is not an easy task. However, this Firebird makes sure her classmate’s chair is taken care of at the end of each advisory class. Thank you for helping out, pitching in, and being an awesome classmate. Congratulations, Selah!"

Paul G., a 7th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mr. Toman shared, "Paul has been so focused in class and diligent in asking questions. I'm impressed with how engaged he's been and appreciate the energy he brings to class. Congratulations, Paul!"

Kenzie S., a 7th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mrs. Fields shared, "Kenzie is kind to her classmates and always willing to help out. When her classmates are struggling with their lockers or to find classes, she shows them patience and stops to help them out. Way to go, Kenzie!"

K.J. H., an 8th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mrs. Carson shared, "K.J. is super positive and sits quietly while his peers finish their answers. He is always on task and is committed to learning no matter the class. Thank you for being such a great Firebird role model to everyone, K.J.!"

Camden P., an 8th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mrs. Hinojosa shared, "At the beginning of the school year, Camden was so kind and invited new students to sit with him and his crew at lunch! Thank you for being so welcoming and thoughtful, Camden!"
