Each week, our teachers nominate students to receive a Friday Firebird Award. This award is given to students who set a wonderful example by demonstrating The Eight Keys of Excellence!
Josh W., a 6th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Ms. Cramer shared, "Josh consistently gives his best effort in everything he does. He works hard in class, stays organized, and takes pride in his academic growth. His talent as an artist truly stands out, and he brings creativity and care to every piece he creates. Beyond his skills, he is kind and respectful to his classmates, making him a positive and valued member of the school community. Congratulations, Josh!"
Lucas S., a 7th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Ms. Cramer shared, "Lucas does an excellent job balancing his academics and athletic commitments. He manages his time well and consistently puts effort into both areas. In art class, he demonstrated ‘Commitment’ by completing his Surrealism project on time and with great skill. He is funny, kind, and encouraging to his classmates, helping create a positive and supportive classroom environment. Thanks for bringing your best, Lucas!"
Janelle M., a 7th grader, was recognized as a Firebird Award winner! Mrs. Moralez shared, "Janelle received the 7th-grade Firebird Art Award for her incredible artistic abilities, specifically in painting. Her perseverance and creativity truly embody excellence in each project she takes on while positively contributing to the classroom environment by encouraging peers, sharing ideas, and setting a strong example of what it means to be a dedicated artist and learner.
