Windsor Charter Academy is seeking candidates to serve on our Executive Board! Due to our school closure last March, WCA was unable to hold its annual election last May. To ensure we fill our required Board positions, WCA planned to hold two election cycles this school year - one last fall and one this spring. For the spring election, online voting will begin on Wednesday, May 12th at 7:30 a.m. and will end on Wednesday, May 19th at 3:30 p.m.

If parents or other community stakeholders are interested in running for a Board position, please visit our website for information about the application process. For those interested in running as a Board candidate, please submit a Candidate Application to our committee by Wednesday, April 7th. Potential candidates must have attended a minimum of two Board meetings in the year of their intended candidacy or volunteered for a minimum of thirty-five hours within the twelve months prior to their candidacy. Volunteer hours can either be served at WCA or at another organization that can verify service hours. Our next two board meetings will be held on March 25th and April 22nd.

All candidates are invited to attend an informational meeting on Wednesday, April 14th via Zoom. If a candidate is unable to make the informational meeting due to a scheduling conflict, arrangements can be made in advance of the meeting.
