Halloween Parties and Parade

Our elementary school classes will celebrate Halloween on Friday, October 27th! We are excited to welcome our families to our school and see all of their creative costumes!

Halloween Costumes
Students may come to school dressed in their Halloween costumes. Costumes must be free of weapons of any kind or excessive face paint (no blood/gore). Students may not wear a Halloween mask to school, but may wear it during the classroom party and parade.

Halloween Parade

The entrance for the Halloween Parade will be located at the northeast gate. Guests will be able to view the Halloween parade in the northeast corner grassy area or the backfield starting at 1:30 p.m. All guests who have completed a background check will be permitted to enter through the gate on the northeast corner of the school property beginning at 1:00 p.m.

There will be a Fast Pass line and a non-Fast Pass line. All guests should be prepared to show a photo ID. Any guest who hasn’t completed a background check 48 hours prior to the event must enter through the front office.

Guests will be held in the northeast grassy area until 1:10 p.m. when lunch recesses end. At 1:10 p.m., guests may move to the playground area and form lines to view the parade.

Cones will be set up to allow for a path for students to walk; please do not stand on the path. Please avoid high fives or other physical contact with students during the parade. Guests will not be allowed in the halls or classrooms prior to or during the parade.

Following the parade, once all students have re-entered the building, guests may enter the building via the library or the 2nd or 3rd grade hallway doors to attend 1st- 5th grade classroom celebrations. Kindergarten will not have celebrations after the parade as they had their Spooky Celebration on different days. Kindergarten parents may exit through the backgate. If guests are not staying for the celebrations, they may exit through the back northeast gate.

Set-Up Volunteers

Only designated set-up volunteers for the Halloween celebrations will be allowed to enter the building before the parade.  Volunteers will be checked in from 12:30 to 12:45 p.m. through the front office. If set-up volunteers arrive after 12:45 p.m., they will need to enter through the back northeast gate.

Fast Passes Entrance

We require background checks to be completed 48 hours prior to the event. For more information on this process, please visit our Background Check & Fast Passes webpage

Guests with Fast Passes should be prepared to show their Fast Pass along with a photo ID and enter through the Fast Pass Entrance at the back northeast gate. There will be a Fast Pass line and a non-Fast Pass line.

Checking Students Out Early

All guests who plan to check students out early will need to get an early dismissal slip for each child from their classroom teacher and show it at an exit as they leave.

Parking

Out of respect for our neighboring businesses, please use one of our three parking lots or the church parking lot. Please do not park at Windsor Gymnastics Academy or any of the Future Legends parking lots, or your car may be towed. If you park on Garden Drive, Diamond Valley East, or Academy Court, your vehicle must be moved by 2:45 p.m. to allow for pick up.
