In March, our school closed for the school year. In May, before the last day of school, WCA staff collected all student belongings that were left at the school and placed them in a paper bag labeled with each student name.

The WCA Education Committee serves to strengthen the overall educational program of our schools. This committee assists the administrator and teachers in providing all WCA students with the highest quality educational program possible by researching new and existing curricular and instructional approaches and evaluating and synthesizing information.

At any point during the school year, elementary school in-person learners may be asked to learn remotely for a period of time. To prepare for this, all parents are asked to complete a Remote Learning Technology Survey for each child enrolled at our elementary school.

Our kindergarten students will meet Nyasha Williams, the author of “What's the Commotion in the Ocean?” This amazing opportunity will expand student learning of our kindergarten Core Knowledge topics of reduce, reuse, recycle and taking care of the earth. Ms. Williams will read aloud her amazing story and bring autographed copies for purchase!
