In March, our school closed for the school year. In May, before the last day of school, WCA staff collected all student belongings that were left at the school and placed them in a paper bag labeled with each student name.

Academy Court is a drop-off location for students who eat breakfast in the cafeteria from 7:30 to 7:45 a.m.. There is no parking permitted on Academy Court from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m.

WCA will begin enforcing use of acceptable face coverings only.

The WCA Education Committee serves to strengthen the overall educational program of our schools. This committee assists the administrator and teachers in providing all WCA students with the highest quality educational program possible by researching new and existing curricular and instructional approaches and evaluating and synthesizing information.

Our Parent Agreement Form includes our Acceptable Use of Technology Agreement, Student Data Privacy Policy, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act, and our Code of Conduct.

At any point during the school year, elementary school in-person learners may be asked to learn remotely for a period of time. To prepare for this, all parents are asked to complete a Remote Learning Technology Survey for each child enrolled at our elementary school.

Give back to our school just by shopping for groceries and gas! Windsor Charter Academy has partnered with King Soopers Community Rewards Program to help raise money for our school. King Soopers has recently restructured their program and it is easier than ever to participate!

ABC Bright School-Age Centers provide child care services before and after school in our cafeteria. If parents are interested in registering their child for this program, please visit their website.

Windsor Charter Academy has an opening for part-time food services positions! This is an ideal position for someone looking to work only a few hours a day. Ideal candidates may include parents or community members who want to be more involved in our school!

We wanted to remind families about the requirements for the cloth face coverings. Please ensure that the face covering your student is wearing meets all of the criteria.

Come support Windsor Charter Academy’s VEX Robotics Team! On March 30th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the team will be selling warm brownies with vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate drizzle for $5.

We are excited to announce that our school is part of the Coca-Cola Give program! This program opens up Windsor Charter Academy to new opportunities to help fund enrichment programs at our school.

Join us on Thursday, March 19th for our music, dance, and art showcase for our elementary school students! This event is sponsored by Security and Sound Design.

Our kindergarten students will meet Nyasha Williams, the author of “What's the Commotion in the Ocean?” This amazing opportunity will expand student learning of our kindergarten Core Knowledge topics of reduce, reuse, recycle and taking care of the earth. Ms. Williams will read aloud her amazing story and bring autographed copies for purchase!

Our next Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, hosted by our Parent-Teacher Club (PTC) is scheduled for March 11th! Let’s show our teachers how much we care about them by hosting a salad bar lunch. Please be sure to bring all food items to the elementary school teachers’ lounge on March 11th before 10:00 a.m.
