Windsor Charter Academy Elementary School has immediate openings for paraprofessionals.

Our school is currently looking for volunteers to coordinate Box Top and Milk Cap collections. Funds raised through these collections are used to support student and staff needs throughout the school year.

Thank you to all of our families for your patience over the last few weeks with our pick-up and drop-off processes!

The Clearview Library Bookmobile will be at the elementary school on Tuesdays beginning August 30, 2022. The Bookmobile will be parked on Academy Court from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please park in one of the school parking lots to visit the Bookmobile.

Our school is proud to offer Science Matters in America STEM enrichment activities. To register for a Science Matters class, please visit their website.

Windsor Charter Academy is proud to be an AVID school! Our teachers incorporate AVID strategies in our classrooms on a daily basis. To help promote the importance of AVID with our students, parents are asked to purchase an AVID t-shirt for their children in grades 3-5. The purchase of an AVID t-shirt is optional for students in grades K-2.

Windsor Charter Academy is excited to offer a variety of extracurricular activities to our elementary school students! Registration is now open for activities that will occur in both the fall and spring semesters.

Please note that all outstanding library books have been marked as lost and a lost-book fee has been placed on students' accounts. Students with lost-book fees will be unable to check out books until the books are returned or fines are paid.

We are excited to announce that we will be offering clubs and intramural sports at the elementary school! We are able to offer more opportunities for students to participate in clubs and intramural sports if we secure additional volunteers who are paid through a stipend. If you have a passion for working with children, please consider taking on the role of an advisor or coach!

Our Health Office has a large collection of lost glasses. If your child is missing their glasses, please check with our health aides to see if they have them.

Last week, a wedding ring was found in the elementary school staff bathroom. This ring has not been claimed by any staff member, so we are reaching out to our parent and volunteer community to see if anyone can claim it.

We are excited to celebrate our 5th grade students as they make their way to middle school! Our 5th Grade Continuation Ceremony will take place on Wednesday, May 18th at 8:25 a.m. After the Continuation Ceremony, students will leave for their field trip to Rollerland. The field trip is a student-only event.

We want to inform parents that the WCA Elementary School yearbook is sold out! Yearbooks will be delivered to students during the last week of school.

Each year, Student Council raises funds through charging students $1 to wear jeans on Friday. At the end of the year, Student Council then determines how best to utilize those funds. This year, Student Council has chosen to purchase permanent tetherball poles for our playground!

As the end of the year approaches, please be sure that your student has turned in their library books!

We are excited to host Field Day on May 17th! This year, our theme will be celebrating Olympic sports. This end-of-year event is a special tradition at our school! Click to learn more about the event schedule, volunteer opportunities, and other important information about this event!

The Kona Ice truck is coming to Windsor Charter Academy Elementary School! Kona Ice will be here on April 22nd to celebrate the success of our Firebird Fun Run Fundraiser! From April 18th through 21st, students can bring in Kona Ice money and turn it into their teacher.

The Windsor Charter Academy Middle School Cheer Team is excited to have 5th grade students join the cheer team next year! We are ramping up for our 2022-23 season and invite families who are interested to join us at our parent meeting on April 14th.

Cooking Club is a community-based class that provides students with skills to creatively make snacks and meals on their own! In this club, students will learn to follow recipes, use kitchen tools, and prepare snacks that can be enjoyed together as a group or at home.
