The WCA Education Committee serves to strengthen the overall educational program of our schools. This committee assists the administrator and teachers in providing all WCA students with the highest quality educational program possible by researching new and existing curricular and instructional approaches and evaluating and synthesizing information.

Here are some useful time management tips on days students are working from home.

Mr. Olson is returning to help tutor our WCA students! He is available from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday in room 189.

WCA is postponing its homecoming dance and other related activities because of the limit on group sizes for gatherings and cohorting guidance. Our high school student council is working on alternative ways to bring our students together and build our school culture!

Windsor Charter Academy has an opening for part-time food services positions! This is an ideal position for someone looking to work only a few hours a day. Ideal candidates may include parents or community members who want to be more involved in our school!

Does your student ever wake up and wonder what to wear to school? Thanks to the efforts of daddy-daughter duo John and Mirabelle, and the Porter family, our families can check the weather every morning!

Give back to our school just by shopping for groceries and gas! Windsor Charter Academy has partnered with King Soopers Community Rewards Program to help raise money for our school. King Soopers has recently restructured their program and it is easier than ever to participate!

Senior parents and students are invited to attend a meeting on September 9th at 6:00 p.m. to discuss the senior year timeline, senior deadlines, and cap and gown orders.

As a reminder, 2020-2021 registration and technology fees are due August 31st. Please login to your Infinite Campus account to view the balance owed before contacting WCA’s Business Office.

In our High School Parent & Student Handbook, it was previously stated that we would be offering Chromebook insurance to our middle school students. This year, due to remote learning, WCA will not be offering Chromebook insurance.

We wanted to remind families about the requirements for the cloth face coverings. Please ensure that the face covering your student is wearing meets all of the criteria.

Due to COVID-19, our families are being asked to adapt to new and ever-changing formats and structures of hybrid learning. As parents/guardians, we need to be cognizant and engaged in our student’s digital consumption.

If your student is interested in applying to West Point, the United States Naval Academy, or the United States Air Force Academy, please attend this Parent Information Meeting at Prospect Ridge Academy.

Our 10th and 11th grade students will have the opportunity to fill out the “Student Search Service” sections of their PSAT/SAT. The Student Search Service is a free, voluntary program that connects students with information about educational and financial aid opportunities from eligible colleges, universities, scholarships, and other educational programs.

Spring is in the air! It is a good time to review our parking lot procedures. Please note that all parents must enter on Firebird Way north of the soccer field. As students are dropped off/ picked up, parents will need to drop off/pick up from the right lane only.

Aims Community College’s summer and fall class schedules are now available to view online at Aims.edu. Registration for summer and fall classes at the Aims Community College campus or online will open on April 13th. If your student is planning to take a college class over the summer they will need to fill out an outside credit approval form that can be picked up in the high school office.

Join us for our Watch This! Improv Show on Wednesday, March 18th from 7:15 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in our high school commons. Our students have been hard at work! Come join us as we celebrate our future performers!

Come support Windsor Charter Academy’s VEX Robotics Team! On March 30th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the team will be selling warm brownies with vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate drizzle for $5.
