Ms. Seneca has a few course registration reminders!

All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will participate in the Colorado School Day PSAT/SAT on April 16, 2024.  Students can leave for the day when their testing room has finished testing. Seniors will not report to school on this day.

If you are interested in scheduling a time to meet with your student's teacher to discuss their academic progress, please sign up for a date on our Parent-Teacher Conference Sign-Up Form.

On Saturday, February 3rd, from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., high school students are invited to attend our Sadie Hawkins Dance! Tickets will be sold at the door for $10.

Congratulations to our 1st Semester Honor Roll recipients!

Students need to be aware of the dates that they can drop or withdraw from Aims Community College courses. 

Students may now register for financial aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form, which allows students to be considered for federal student aid.

We have several volunteer opportunities for our high school families!

Mrs. Ringlein and Ms. Seneca will begin classroom visits to start our 2024-25 course registration process during the week of January 16th. Course registration forms will be due on Friday, February 2nd. Please ensure your students bring their signed registration forms to the front office by this date.

The Weld RE-4 School District will host a teen marijuana prevention talk for parents from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, in the Windsor High School Auditorium. Speaker Laura Stack from Johnny’s Ambassadors Youth Marijuana Prevention will present.

Does your student continually ask for cash to go to the concession stand? Surprise them with a digital gift card they can use to purchase snacks! Families can purchase a gift card at the concession stand or online. 

The Virtual College Counselor advisors will be visiting Junior classes on January 11th and 12th to discuss determining the best college fit and building a college list.

When students return from winter break, all 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will take the PSAT/SAT practice tests on Thursday, January 11th and Friday, January 12th from 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. All 9th through 11th graders must report to school for these assessments. Seniors do not need to report until 10:15 a.m.

High school students will have review sessions for final exams beginning on December 13th. Students will take final exams from December 15th through 20th. Students will be released early at 11:24 a.m. on December 19th and 20th.

We would like to take a moment to thank Cafe Mexicali for sponsoring our High School PTC Teacher Appreciation Lunch! Cafe Mexicali donated some food items for our HS staff members. We appreciate you for supporting our teachers!

It is hard to believe that we are closing in on the end of the first semester of the 2023-24 academic year, which means that graduation will be here in just a few short months!

Aims Community College sent out correspondence to students regarding several items, one of which is tax forms.

WCA’s High School PTC will be sponsoring two of the events for the “12 Days of Christmas” celebration for staff members! If you would like to support this event, we are in need of donations! Please sign up here to donate to the cookie exchange on December 14th.
