The Windsor/Severance FFA Alumni group and other community supporters have come together to host a CTE Opportunities Fair for northern Colorado students. The CTE Opportunities Fair is intended to showcase careers in various trades.

The Boettcher Foundation Scholarship application cycle is now open to all qualifying high school seniors. Please visit the Boettcher Foundation's website for more information. Applications are due by November 1st, 2021.

Windsor Charter Academy’s administrative team made revisions to two grading procedures in our handbook this year. The purpose of these changes is to ensure consistency among all high school courses, give students opportunities to improve their grades, and to enhance communication with parents.

Jostens will be here for Senior Seminar on September 13th and 14th to distribute graduation order forms. Jostens will be back to collect the order forms on September 22nd.

Students who have an F in any course will be required to attend after-school Academic Support with their teachers from 3:05 to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesdays (and Thursdays to complete assignments and study for upcoming assessments).

Picture Retake Day for our elementary school students will be held on Wednesday, October 19th. Please review the Dress Code Policy for information on formal dress uniform for Picture Day

Windsor Charter Academy Early College High School is excited to announce that we are offering College Counseling Sessions to our high school families. Parents and students will have opportunities to meet with professional college counselors throughout their high school journey.

Is your student interested in engineering, design, building, or programming? We invite all students to participate in VEX Robotics! Windsor Charter Academy’s award-winning VEX Robotics program has been around for the last 5 years and our teams have qualified for the state competition every year.

Liberty Common High School is hosting a College Fair on August 30th and our students are invited to attend!

Families are required to complete 35 hours of community service at WCA. We are working on a new sign-up process for volunteering that we plan to roll out in the coming weeks. In the meantime, we have several volunteer opportunities to start off the school year.

Student Council does a fundraiser every Friday and students can pay $1 to dress down.

Windsor Charter Academy has an offer from Weld County Food Bank to provide 5 families with meals for the weekend.

If your student has a 504 Plan and is taking an Aims Community College course, please remember the plan must be approved by Aims for accommodations to be provided in college courses.

Mr. Dave Olson, our amazing math and science tutor, will be returning to WCA this school year! Mr. Olson is a former college instructor who can assist students in all math courses and most science courses.

Many of you have heard that one of our former Spanish teachers, Lara Demaree, passed away on Sunday. Lara made an amazing impact on all of the staff and students at WCA.

Please join us on Thursday, September 2nd at 6:00 p.m. for a short Junior Class Parent Meeting. This meeting has been moved to Zoom so you can join from home. Both students and parents are encouraged to attend.

We invite all of our seniors and their parents to a meeting on Thursday, August 19th at 6:30 p.m in the MS/HS gym. During this meeting we will share the senior year timeline.

High school students will have a testing schedule on Tuesday, August 24th and Wednesday, August 25th so that we can give all of our 9th-11th grade students practice PSAT and SAT tests. Seniors do not have to report to school until 10:00 on these days.

Yearbooks will be distributed to high school students (excluding seniors) on May 19th from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. If your student bought a yearbook, they received a yearbook ticket within the last few weeks.

We are excited to share that Aims Community College, one of our partners, is offering free tuition to all Colorado residents living in the Aims Community College Tax District.
