Windsor Charter Academy was awarded an Empower Grant from Poudre Valley REA! Mx. Madigent applied for a grant to purchase 3D Makerbot Sketch Printers for her art classroom.

It’s that time of year again! All middle school students will receive their 2024-2025 registration forms in the next few weeks. Registration forms are due by February 29th to the middle school front office. Students should also register in Infinite Campus by February 29th.

On Wednesday, January 17th, our 8th-grade families attended our High School Registration Night Webinar. If you were unable to attend the meeting, we encourage you to watch the recording.

Congratulations to our 2nd Quarter Honor Roll recipients! These students will be recognized at school and receive a coupon for a “Firebird Dress Day” to be used on Tuesday, January 23rd.

Spring conferences will be scheduled from January 29th to February 9th.  Teachers will reach out to parents with whom they would like to schedule an individual or group conference. If you would like to request a conference with any of your students' teachers please email them to schedule a time.

Middle school students are invited to participate in Tech Club! In this club, students will learn about the history of computers, hardware, software, networking, game consoles, gaming physics, digital music, 3D printing, robots, and drones. At each meeting, we will focus on several STEAM topics!

The Weld RE-4 School District will host a teen marijuana prevention talk for parents from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 23, in the Windsor High School Auditorium. Speaker Laura Stack from Johnny’s Ambassadors Youth Marijuana Prevention will present.

If you have not yet submitted your photos, please submit them ASAP! In preparation for 8th Grade Continuation on May 21st, we need pictures of 8th-grade students for their continuation video! One of the best elements of the 8th Grade Continuation Ceremony is the slideshow displaying pictures of our 8th graders at various stages of their childhood.

Does your student continually ask for cash to go to the concession stand? Surprise them with a digital gift card they can use to purchase snacks! Families can purchase a gift card at the concession stand or online.

As our first semester wraps up, our students are preparing for their finals. This time of the year can elevate their stress levels. Here are some tips to help your student manage their stress.

On Tuesday, December 5th starting at 5:30 p.m., middle and high school music students will show off their hard work by performing musical works for each other, family, and friends. All are welcome to attend an evening of musical entertainment!

All current 8th grade students and their families are invited to attend our High School Parent Information Night on Wednesday, December 6th at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom.

Students will have review sessions for their final exams on December 13th, 14th, and 15th. On December 19th and 20th, students will take final exams and will be released early at 11:09 a.m.

Firebird Dress Days can occur when students are celebrating their birthday, earn Honor Roll status, earn a reward, score well on standardized assessments, or demonstrate the 8 Keys of Excellence in a superior way.

Mrs. Boyes, our middle school counselor, is excited to announce that we are partnering with Caring Canines, a local nonprofit organization specializing in animal-assisted therapy. Caring Canines was founded to help students in a school setting.

We will be celebrating Halloween at school on Friday, October 27th! Students are invited to wear their costumes to school but must follow the guidelines below.

Windsor Charter Academy welcomes all families and visitors to our Veterans Day Assembly on November 10th at 2:15 p.m.! To ensure the safety of our schools, we will require all visitors attending the Veterans Day Assembly to have a background check on file.
