Due to the WCA Teacher Professional Development Day on Friday, September 18th, our Group B schedule will be modified. In-person hybrid learners in Group B will be in the building on Wednesday, September 16th and Thursday, September 17th. Wednesday will be a navy day and Thursday will be a green day.

WCA will begin enforcing use of acceptable face coverings only.

In order to support students as they work to stay caught up on their school work, our middle school teachers will have two catch-up days for each cohort group.

The WCA Education Committee serves to strengthen the overall educational program of our schools. This committee assists the administrator and teachers in providing all WCA students with the highest quality educational program possible by researching new and existing curricular and instructional approaches and evaluating and synthesizing information.

Windsor Charter Academy has an opening for part-time food services positions! This is an ideal position for someone looking to work only a few hours a day. Ideal candidates may include parents or community members who want to be more involved in our school!

Give back to our school just by shopping for groceries and gas! Windsor Charter Academy has partnered with King Soopers Community Rewards Program to help raise money for our school. King Soopers has recently restructured their program and it is easier than ever to participate!

Over the next few weeks, in-person students can anticipate that the workload will gradually increase as students learn the basics of remote learning. Students can anticipate about 90 minutes of coursework in each core class while on remote learning days.

Synchronous learning days are on Wednesdays for WCA in-person hybrid learners (Group A and B).

As a reminder, 2020-2021 registration and technology fees are due August 31st. Please login to your Infinite Campus account to view the balance owed before contacting WCA’s Business Office.

Due to COVID-19, our families are being asked to adapt to new and ever-changing formats and structures of hybrid learning. As parents/guardians, we need to be cognizant and engaged in our student’s digital consumption.

In our Middle School Parent & Student Handbook, it was previously stated that we would be offering Chromebook insurance to our middle school students. This year, due to remote learning, WCA will not be offering Chromebook insurance.

We wanted to remind families about the requirements for the cloth face coverings. Please ensure that the face covering your student is wearing meets all of the criteria.

Come support Windsor Charter Academy’s VEX Robotics Team! On March 30th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., the team will be selling warm brownies with vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate drizzle for $5.

In our heightened state of awareness with regard to spreading illness, please refer to the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment Guidelines - “How Sick is Too Sick?”.
