At WCA’s last Executive Board meeting, a new Pearson Realize (now Savvas Realize) math curriculum was adopted for the 2021-2022 school year. This curriculum supports a shift in our math sequencing philosophy from an Algebra 1 → Geometry → Algebra 2 sequence to a more integrated approach.

Middle school students should have received an email asking them to complete their quarter 3 elective options via a Google Form. This is their opportunity to request their elective preferences for quarter 3.

Windsor Charter Academy is spreading holiday cheer to children in need in our community! We are collecting donations to Santa Cops, a non-profit organization where law enforcement officers deliver presents to children in need.

Share the joy this holiday season by helping to provide a fun gift for our middle and high school teachers and staff! WCA’s Parent-Teacher Club (PTC) is collecting beverage-themed baskets and donations towards creating baskets.

National Honors Society is supporting Homeward Alliance by collecting warm clothing for the winter months!

All current 8th grade students and their families are invited to attend our High School Parent Information Night on Tuesday, December 8th at 6:00 p.m. via Zoom.

Our middle school students are getting close to the end of the semester! Please note early dismissal days on December 17th and 18th. Students will be released at 11:04 a.m.

The Math Department is pleased to invite our students to participate in our math student-tutor program! Students from kindergarten through 10th grade (or through Algebra 2) are eligible to participate in this program.

The Technology Department is selling two FUYL Tower 15 Charging Lockers. The FUYL Tower 15 is an Intelligent Asset Management System that charges, stores, secures and manages assets for most mobile devices in 15 individually lockable compartments.

Congratulations to all of our 1st quarter honor roll students! This has been a unique school year and these students have risen to the challenge of keeping up their grades and being “Flexible” with learning in the classroom and at home. We are proud of each and every Firebird!

Middle school students will complete their reading and math MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) assessments on December 7th and 8th.

Thankfulness can help us build connections with others. Currently, students may be feeling overwhelmed and isolated, our nation can feel divided, and many are uncertain of what the holidays will look like as we see a rise in coronavirus cases.

This year, Windsor Charter Academy Schools will handle snow days differently than other Weld RE-4 schools. In the event a snow day is called, all elementary, middle, and high school staff and students will have a traditional snow day.

Join us for Online Scholastic Book Fair! Our Book Fair is open from November 8th until November 21st. Parents can find a book suited to any student in grade levels K-12.

On Monday, November 16th, Windsor Charter Academy will begin to enroll new incoming siblings of current students for the 2021-2022 school year. To be offered a spot for a sibling, our Registrar’s Office must have a Letter of Intent submitted for your incoming child.

As a reminder, when checking students in and out during the school day a parent/guardian needs to accompany their student to the building. When checking a student out, a parent/guardian will need to provide a photo ID.
