We are excited to celebrate Halloween! Middle school students may wear costumes on Friday, October 30th but must follow the guidelines listed below. Friday is not considered a free dress day so if students are not in costume, they should follow the regular dress code.

Cyber Safety Seminar
Online schooling during COVID-19 has has drastically changed the amount of time children spend on the internet. The internet provides dynamic opportunities to learn and connect with others, but also introduces risks, including: cyber bullying, exposure to inappropriate material, online predators, sexting, and over-sharing of personal information. During this seminar, Robb Miller, Assistant District Attorney at the Weld County District Attorney's Office, will provide vital information regarding how parents can keep their children safe in the digital world.

Parent-Teacher Conferences
October Student Count
Each year, Colorado state public schools participate in the October Student Count as required by the Colorado Department of Education. The purpose of this count is to determine an official number of students enrolled in each school. This year, the count will occur from September 24th through October 8th. Our school receives state funding based on the number of students present during this time period.

Due to the WCA Teacher Professional Development Day on Friday, September 18th, our Group B schedule will be modified. In-person hybrid learners in Group B will be in the building on Wednesday, September 16th and Thursday, September 17th. Wednesday will be a navy day and Thursday will be a green day.
