We have completed the iReady benchmark assessments. These results were sent home with students last week. If you have not already, please review the results of your student’s iReady assessment.

Be sure to check your student's Quarter 3 Schedule on Infinite Campus. Some students have had their core classes moved around due to math needs. If your student is a part of that group, their math teacher reached out to you earlier this month.

Athletic Wear Day is schedule for Friday, December 10th and Ugly Sweater Day will be held on Tuesday, December 14th!

This year all students will be scheduled into a Multimedia Literacy elective where they will focus on Core Knowledge content. The culminating event will be a Core Knowledge Showcase, where students will share their projects and celebrate their learning over the quarter. Families are encouraged to attend this event to view their students' work!

Our Middle School Teacher Appreciation Luncheon will be held on December 14th! If you are interested in donating an item to the luncheon, please sign up!

Our Middle School Parent-Teacher Club (PTC) is hosting a Teacher Appreciation Luncheon on Tuesday, December 14th. If you are interested in bringing in a food item, or purchasing a small gift, please sign up!

All current 8th grade students and their families are invited to attend our High School Parent Information Night on Tuesday, December 7th at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom.

Students will start preparing to take their finals the first week of December! On December 15th & 16th, students will take final exams and will be released early at 11:04 a.m.

We have an ever-growing collection of clothes, water bottles, and random items in our lost and found. We have so many items that our lost and found is almost full!

Congratulations to all of our 1st quarter Honor Roll students! Students have worked hard in their classes and are showing “Commitment” to their schoolwork. We are proud of each and every Firebird!

Join us on November 11th from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. in the MS/HS Gymnasium to celebrate our Veterans! A reception for Veterans and their families will be held in the HS Commons following the assembly.

Our first middle school dance will be on Friday, November 5th from 3:45 to 6:00 p.m.! Tickets will be sold in advance and at the door for $5.00.

We will be celebrating Halloween at school on Friday, October 29th! Students are invited to wear their costumes to school but must follow the guidelines below.

Congratulate your promoting 8th grader in the 2022 yearbook with a Recognition Ad, (aka “Baby Ad”). This is a great way to show your student how proud you are and to recognize them for how much they have accomplished and grown.

Students may request to change their electives for quarter two by contacting Mrs. Bratton. Schedule changes for quarter two need to be completed by the end of the day of Monday, October 18th.

October 8th marks the end of our 1st Quarter. Please make sure you and your child are checking Infinite Campus, turning in any late or missing assignments, and communicating with teachers if you have any questions.

Fall Parent-Teacher Conferences are upon us! These conferences will be held Tuesday, October 12th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the school’s gymnasium. Conferences are an open house format.
