Each year, Colorado state public schools participate in the October Student Count as required by the Colorado Department of Education. The purpose of this count is to determine an official number of students enrolled in each school. This year, the count will occur on Monday, October 2nd. Our school receives state funding based on the number of students present on October 2nd. State funding covers teacher salaries, student resources, building costs, and funding for STEM, music, athletics, and other programs. One student in attendance on October 2nd translates to more than $10,000 in state funding. Please be sure your student attends school on Monday, October 2nd to ensure we receive our full amount of state funding!
