Update to a COVID-19 Mitigation Strategy

Windsor Charter Academy’s health and administrative teams monitor our schools’ COVID-19 data on a daily basis. Since the start of the pandemic we have been committed to making mitigation decisions based on COVID-19 data in our schools. As you know, the CDC recently reduced the number of days an individual who tests positive for or is exposed to COVID-19 needs to isolate and quarantine. Due to these changes, and based on our schools’ transmission data, we are modifying one of our mitigation strategies. Beginning on Monday, February 7th, Windsor Charter Academy will no longer be quarantining individual classrooms or activities (sports teams, school clubs, etc.). We will continue to follow our quarantine guidelines if we reach a 10% positive case threshold within a single grade level or within a school. Please keep your child home if they are ill. We appreciate your continued partnership in ensuring our students can learn and thrive at school!
