Share the Light Firebird Scholarship
Windsor Charter Academy established the Share the Light Firebird Scholarship to celebrate the positive impact that our Firebirds will have on the world when they graduate. Student recipients will be selected based on their character, good works, and kindness. These exemplary Firebirds will be recognized at our high school commencement ceremony for having had a positive impact on our school, built quality relationships with students and staff, and contributed to building the culture at Windsor Charter Academy.
We are asking our families and greater Firebird community to "share their light" by supporting this scholarship. A small contribution of $10 to $20 can make a significant impact. If each of our families donated $10 we would be able to award several scholarships to our graduates. By supporting a student, you can help our Firebirds share their light with the world!
John Bartmann Memorial Scholarship
The John Bartmann Memorial Scholarship was established to celebrate and honor the legacy of John Bartmann. For three years, John served as the president of Windsor Charter Academy. He was dedicated to his children’s education and wanted to leave a legacy of learning. John was instrumental in developing plans for Windsor Charter Academy’s expansion, including the building of a middle and early college high school.
Each year, a single scholarship recipient chosen. The student recipient will be selected based on their strong work ethic and for their integrity and respect for others. The recipient will show responsibility in their daily work and model character traits such as trustworthiness, respect, fairness, and care for others. The recipient also serves as the “Key Bearer” during our commencement ceremony - the highest honor awarded to a student at Windsor Charter Academy.
